Overview

Content Creation in Skayle is built for ranking execution, not one-off drafting. You move through one connected flow:
  1. Create topics
  2. Generate content items from selected topics
  3. Review SEO and AEO quality signals
  4. Finalize metadata and structure
  5. Publish now or schedule

Content types and plans

Skayle supports multiple content collections/content types.
  • Articles is available on all plans.
  • Additional collections (for example Answers, Glossary, Guides, Comparisons, Troubleshooting, Templates, and Tools) require the Authority plan.
  • On non-Authority plans, non-article collections are read-only.

Topic creation

Skayle supports two topic creation paths:
  • Automatic topic generation: creates a fresh topic list based on your workspace context.
  • Keyword-seeded generation: starts from your provided keywords or phrases.
Each topic can include a suggested angle, content type, and writing style so your list is ready for production.

Content item creation workflow

From the topic list, you can generate items in batches for the selected collection. Skayle creates draft items with:
  • Core body content
  • Suggested structure
  • Metadata fields
  • Taxonomy relationships (when available)
You can then edit each item before publication.

SEO + AEO scoring

Each item can be analyzed with separate SEO and AEO breakdowns.
  • SEO score: evaluates search-focused quality such as title/meta quality, headings, keyword usage, and linking readiness.
  • AEO score: evaluates answer-focused quality such as direct answerability, structure clarity, readability, and authority signals.
Scores are diagnostic guidance for revision, not a replacement for editorial judgment.

Structured metadata

Skayle supports structured fields for publishing-ready outputs:
  • SEO title and meta description
  • FAQ entries
  • Canonical and social metadata (Open Graph/Twitter fields)
  • JSON-LD schema output
  • Internal link suggestions

Editing capabilities

In the content editor you can:
  • Revise content, title, and excerpt
  • Update taxonomy assignments
  • Edit metadata and FAQ entries
  • Review generated schema output
  • Update featured image and alt text

Image generation styles

Skayle supports multiple visual styles for featured images (configured in workspace settings), including options such as:
  • Photorealistic
  • Pastel Toyland
  • Storybook Hues
  • Crochet Worlds
  • Computational Noir
  • Clay
  • Spectral Flow
  • Primitive Play
  • Glyph Matrix

Publishing flow

Items can be:
  • Kept as draft
  • Scheduled for a future date
  • Published immediately
If a CMS connector is active, publishing syncs to that connector. In Skayle CMS mode, content is served through the public CMS API. For ongoing operations across all collections, use Content Management (/content/manager) for filtering, batch updates, and bulk scheduling.
