Overview
The Content Calendar gives you a scheduling layer for your content pipeline. It combines:- Drag-and-drop planning
- Draft/scheduled/published state visibility
- Direct integration with your publishing workflow
Drag-and-drop scheduling
You can drag draft items from the unscheduled list onto calendar dates. You can also:- Move scheduled items between dates
- Unschedule drafts by moving them back to the unscheduled area
Status model
Skayle uses three practical states in planning workflows:- Draft: editable and not yet live
- Scheduled: draft with a future publish date
- Published: live status
Collections and plans
- Calendar scheduling works across enabled collections.

Batch workflows
From topic and content workflows, you can create items in batches and schedule them as a batch. This is useful for campaign windows, thematic clusters, and weekly publishing cadence.CMS publishing integration
When a connector is active:- Scheduled items remain pending until publish time.
- Publish actions sync through your connector rules.
- Unpublish/reschedule actions follow connector capabilities.
